In its first review of the NaimUniti the magazine concluded "There's nothing else on the market quite like the NaimUniti, and at the price it's a steal". The NaimUniti was also among the products included in the Readers' Award voting, wherer it competed with Spotify, the Cambridge DACMagic and the eventual winner, the Apple iPhone 3GS.
