Precision Engineered

All Naim products are precision engineered and hand crafted because that is the only way we can guarantee that the musical performance of each maintains our extremely high standards – and does so consistently. We prefer not to use automated production line methods because they are far better suited to producing high volume, commodity items, where turning out 5,000 units a day is of more importance than their ultimate performance capability.

All our equipment is hand-built by highly trained individuals at dedicated work stations from hand-assembled kits of parts that will often contain individually hand-matched electronic components or mechanical components that require careful handling and fastidious installation. Our production team has structured the manufacturing processes and workflow in the factory to ensure consistency, and all products are soak-tested and auditioned as a final check to ensure that they are fully operational before they are permitted to leave the premises.

This might sound excessive but we respect the fact that people develop an emotional attachment to their high performance hi-fi, so we do everything we can to produce equipment that fully merits such respect and affection.
