Here at Naim Audio there is an exciting opportunity for a Communications Manager to join our Communications team delivering an effective and efficient communications service to our stakeholders.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

In summary you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Establishing and maintaining good relationships with all internal functions and external parties to deliver the communications strategy as set and communicated to you by the Group Communications and Marketing Director
  • Management of the in-house Naim Communications team.
  • Marketing support to the person responsible for Partnership (non-OEM) development and the VerVent Group products.
  • The production, on time delivery of quality marketing, materials, products and communications within budget.
  • Support the VerVent Audio Group’s commercial vision to deliver commercial and financial targets.
  • Ensure the in-house processes and plans for advertising, content and events are aligned to implement the Group marketing strategy and that they are delivered to an exceptional standard in terms of look, feel, tone and key messages.
  • Develop, manage and deliver product launches and marketing campaign management.
  • Ensure all on-product and in-box communication are fine tuned to drive sales and communicate brand and full range benefits.
  • Drive excellence across printed and online materials and manage online resource centre.
  • Work cross functionally as part of a wider communications teams, including specific liaison with the Head of PR (Focal & Naim) and the Head of Digital Marketing to ensure campaigns are integrated across multi- media, including social media and PR opportunities
  • Optimise existing processes to improve daily operations
  • Co-ordinate relationships with other departments both within the company and externally with other Group subsidiaries / holdings
  • Allocate the resources needed to carry out a project
  • Determine and optimise the organisation of the department within Naim to ensure the smooth running of operations.

Skills & Requirements

  • Experience in similar level position in related Industry
  • Experience of managing creative agencies
  • Developing external relationships with suppliers, brand ambassadors, etc.
  • Able to communicate on all levels
  • Ability to build long standing relationships and work collaboratively with all departments.
  • Ability to motivate, challenge and develop a team.
  • Previous B2B experience essential, and experience in audio, consumer electronics, ideally including audiophile level products.
  • Experience of delivering in-store activations and PoS across a range of retail environments
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing, brand management, campaign management as well as sound knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills to identify the root cause and solution
  • Strong work ethos.
  • Excellent knowledge of marketing media.
  • Exceptionally well organised and efficient, able to work to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining a flexible and proactive in approach to the role
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise tasks.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills to identify the root cause and solution.
  • Positive and can-do attitude as well as capacity to plan and multitask is a must
  • A true team player who enjoys contributing and exchanging ideas with other teams in the business and Group.
  • Calm under pressure and enjoys a challenge, and acts as a role model for others
  • Passionate and eclectic music lover – desirable but not essential!

Qualification / Experience

  • Marketing qualification at Degree Level or similar
