Mu-so Qb is the compact wireless music system from the engineers behind the award-winning Mu-so. Controlled by a powerful audio brain, Mu-so Qb is alive with custom-made features. From the contours of the glass-filled polymer casing to the bass radiators that help create huge low frequencies – every millimetre of space has been used to great effect. Mu-so Qb delivers a staggering 300 watts of power that unmasks your music with a sound that defies size.

Its simple to use connectivity includes AirPlay, Bluetooth®/aptX®, Spotify Connect®, TIDAL, UPnP™ (access your stored music), Internet Radio, USB, analogue and digital inputs, Apple iOS and Android App for complete control.

Every component tailored

One of the biggest design challenges with Mu-so Qb was to configure the individual speakers within the smaller cabinet. To achieve that distinctive Naim sound, our engineers had to interrogate every component and adjust speaker angles by the smallest of fractions. It led us to an arrangement of five drivers, offset and angled perfectly to create a left-right dispersion asymmetry. In this arrangement are two microfibre dome tweeters and two mid drivers, all driven by 50W amplifiers. For low frequencies we’ve installed two pistonic passive bass radiators. These work alongside a custom-made woofer that’s driven by a 100W amplifier to create an astonishing bass sound for a system this size.

Controlling the Mu-so Qb sound

At the heart of Mu-so Qb is a 32-bit digital signal processor - the same high-spec component used in the original Mu-so. Fine-tuned in our listening room, it controls the flow of music information to each speaker. The DSP also includes two EQ settings, tailoring the best sound quality whether close to or away from the edge of any room. The end result is a refined audio experience with no distortion, increased speaker accuracy and an expansive sound that makes hairs stand on end.

PISTONIC BASS RADIATORS

Mu-so Qb has two passive radiators. They work in conjunction with a custom-made woofer that’s driven by a 100W amplifier to create astonishing low frequencies.

ACRYLIC BASE

The whole cabinet sits on an illuminated base of high-grade acrylic that provides the foundation for the electronics and speakers to shine.

CUSTOM-BUILT TWEETERS

Our audio engineers installed microfibre dome tweeters for their stiffness and dampening qualities.

MID-RANGE DRIVERS

Custom mid-range drivers provide crystal clear speech and emotively powerful vocals. They’re also carefully positioned to evenly disperse sound.

DSP

Driving Mu-so Qb is a 32-bit digital signal processor. It’s the same high-spec design as in the original Mu-so system, but it has been finely tuned by our engineers to work perfectly with the smaller cabinet space. It controls the flow of music information to each individual speaker and draws on all our experience designing the best in-car audio systems for Bentley motors.

TOUCH SCREEN INTERFACE

At the core is the volume control – made from a solid aluminium ring – which runs the circumference of the touch screen interface with its patent-pending illumination system.

ULTRA-TOUGH CASING

The main body is made from a 20% glass-filled polymer, chosen for its strength, rigidity and dampening.

ALUMINIUM HEATSINK

At the back of the unit an extruded aluminium heat sink has been installed to maximise thermal performance.

Bring your music alive in any room of your home.

Combine Mu-so Qb with other Mu-so wireless music systems or Naim Audio streaming products for the ultimate multiroom experience.
