Armageddon

The Armageddon is a turntable power supply for the Linn Sondek LP12 turntable. Built around a large 430VA toroidal transformer, simplicity is the key to its uniquely musical sound. It’s a key element in the chain of getting the most from your vinyl playback.
Housed in a single, HiCap style, extruded aluminium case, the Armageddon contains a simple phase shift network. It does not use mains filters as we found through listening tests that they degraded sonic performance significantly.
The Armageddon drives the turntable at 33rpm (50Hz) only, with great smoothness and a dramatic reduction in the motor noise and vibration which cause irretrievable loss of information at the stylus.
- High-quality turntable power supply
- Large 430VA transformer for smooth, low-noise power delivery
- Low-resonance, non-magnetic anodised aluminium chassis with bead-blasted front-panel
