Digital Marketing Executive (Maternity Cover)

Purpose of Role/Key Objectives

To support the Marketing team in the delivery of the Marketing strategy to support Naim’s overall 5 year plan, referred to as Marketing Blueprint. 

Carry out day to day digital marketing activities aimed at driving brand growth and profitability. Support the production of exceptional quality marketing, materials, products and communications within the given timescales and budgets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

 

Website

  • Manage and implement essential updates across all Naim websites
  • Work with external website developer to ensure all website updates are delivered on time, fully tested across all browsers and on brief
  • Working closely with Naim’s digital agency, devise strategies to drive online traffic to the Naim website through organic and paid search campaigns
  • Manage and maintain Naim’s translated sites
  • Monitor customer reviews and question and answer tools
  • Monitor e-commerce platform to drive online sales

 

Email

  • Develop and manage Naim’s email marketing platform, creating an engaging calendar of content targeted at different customer groups, driving loyalty and repurchase
  • Develop digital issue of ‘Connection’, Naim’s monthly customer email
  • Drive growth of customer database and new customers by promoting sign up’s through website, social and other online channels
  • Support GDPR compliance in data handling and customer targeting
  • Support CRM system implementation

 

Social Media

  • To deliver and monitor a strong calendar of engaging content across Naim’s social media platforms, in line with social strategy, driving engagement and growth across all markets
  • Develop and roll out social/online guidelines for Naim distributors ensuring brand values and execution are truly global and consistent across all online and social channels
  • Work with social media contractors
  • Provide excellent community management and customer service through Naim’s social channels
  • Enhance social activity through paid advertising

 

Display Advertising

  • Effectively manage Naim’s digital agencies to devise strategies that drive online traffic to the Naim website and ensure we are getting the best quality and value from them
  • Support digital advertising for Google display and remarketing, as well as social media

 

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Drive key business objectives with a monthly digital KPI report, analysing the effectiveness of our website, social media, email, paid advertising and e-commerce activity
  • Review new technologies, keeping Naim at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
  • Monitor competitor social media, websites and e-marketing to promote best practise
  • Monitor usability and be able to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
  • Monitor Naim retailer and distributor websites and other online channels to ensure the Naim brand is represented correctly and consistently in all markets

 

Other

  • Pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role
  • Identify problems and find solutions

  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

  • A creative thinker with excellent copywriting skills essential
  • Well organised and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise tasks

Qualification / Experience

  • Degree in digital marketing or a related field
  • Experience in similar level position in related industry
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (Drupal preferable) with working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience with E-commerce platforms
  • Experience managing and working with ESP and CRM systems
  • Experience with the new GDPR compliance regulations
  • Basic Photoshop skills essential, additional Adobe suite skills would be an advantage
  • Experience in Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Facebook Ad Manager and Social Media analytics and scheduling tools
  • Experience managing SEO, PPC, email, social media, display and remarketing campaigns
  • Developing and managing external relationships with suppliers
  • Some experience with budgets
  • New media channel marketing

Hours of work:

You are required to work 37.5 hours a week.

A flexible approach is essential as you may be required to work outside of normal hours to achieve organisational goals. Occasional travel will also be necessary.
