Production Supervisor

Purpose of Role/Key Objectives

We are currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our Production Team in a full time and permanent position. For a full list of duties and responsibilities, please refer to the attached job description.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Based at our Head Office on Southampton Road in Salisbury, the Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing, supporting and coaching the Production team on a daily basis. Reporting into the Production Manager, you will be instrumental in achieving production targets, productivity and associated KPI’s, as well as ensuring all products produced, meet or exceed the standards set by Naim Audio Ltd.

The main duties of the Production Supervisor role include (but are not limited to):

·         Overall responsibility of all production departments, ensuring that all work is carried out efficiently, safely and to a high standard, following current H&S standards

·         Develop, train and motivate departmental staff.  Carry out 1-2-1meetings and first level disciplinary meetings.

·         Producing production schedules to enable the achievement of productivity targets to maximise on-time shipping and customer satisfaction. 

·         Working with the Production Manager, ensure clear feedback of production issues into the relevant department.

·         Be a driving force for departmental and company improvements supporting continuous improvement and lean initiatives.

·         Share work related information with the department on a regular basis, encouraging others to participate in achieving company objectives.

·         Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained in all departments.
