ECAD Support Technician

Purpose of Role/Key Objectives

Our commitment to harness the best talent industry has given us the opportunity to add an ECAD Support Technician to our established Research & Development team. This is a full time and permanent position for an enthusiastic individual with a genuine interest and passion for electronics and engineering.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Based at our Head Office on Southampton Road in Salisbury, you will be responsible for:

·         Supporting the Electronic Engineering team

·         Maintaining PCB designs and ECAD component libraries

·         Generating PCB documentation and writing work instructions

·         BOM management within PLM System

·         Liaising with PCB manufacturers for fabrication requirements.

 

Skills & Requirements

In order to be considered for the role of ECAD Support Technician, you will ideally have experience of PCB, ECAD data management and EDA Software, although full training will be given to the successful applicant.

Qualification / Experience

You will also have an Electronic Engineering HNC, HND or relevant work experience. Due to the range of skills in the diverse R&D Team, you will develop working knowledge of Mentor DxDesigner/Expedition PCB design flows, ECAD part creation and PLM Systems (Omnify).
