Service & Repair Technician

Purpose of Role/Key Objectives

Only a handful of service departments around the world have earned near-legendary status in the hi-fi business. Naim Audio’s team of highly trained technicians represents one of that very small number and is renowned and respected for its outstanding capabilities and the thoroughness of its approach.

We are currently recruiting for a Service & Repair Technician to join our team in Salisbury. This is a full time and permanent position. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The main duties of the role will include:

·         Fault finding to component level, including replacing components through hole & surface mounts

·         Testing products for functionality and sound quality

·         Soldering and wiring assembly

·         Mechanical assembly & re-wire

·         Working with 2 channel, AV, Server & Network products

·         Product inspection, problem solving & improvement activities

Skills & Requirements

In order to be considered for this role, you must be computer literate with sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. You will be competent in the use of automated test equipment, signal generators and oscilloscopes, and possess sound communication and problem solving skills.
