HR Administrator

Purpose of Role/Key Objectives

To provide Naim Audio with effective HR administrative support and accurate reporting to ensure departmental goals and objectives are met. To assist the Head of HR with the implementation of specific projects.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

·         Maintain accurate HR business data to ensure effective monthly reporting

·         Support the audit of data within the Octopus/Cascade HR system, and work with the Head of HR to streamline data on the system.

·         Complete weekly, monthly and annual HR reporting for Group

·         Produce ad hoc reporting when required, and support the Head of HR to plan addressing specific data trends

·         Set up new starters, leavers etc. in HR files and Octopus

·         With the Head of HR, manage Octopus access for Line Managers effectively.

·         Complete general administration tasks for the department (letters, organisation chart, documents for meetings etc.)

·         Support the Head of HR with regards to complex individual HR issues.

·         Attend quarterly Staff Consultatative Committee meetings, taking notes from contributors prior to the meeting, and producing notes and action points after the meeting. Follow through on meeting notes ensuring that Senior Managers are aware of action points appropriately prior to the next meeting.

·         Take responsibility for administering local benefits.

·         Upload pension files in line with payroll and support with the collation of payroll data for processing by Finance, and maintain pension auto enrolment admin

·         Work with the Head of HR to ensure all job specifications are up to date, complete and signed

·         Work with the Head of HR to maintain the preferred supplier list and contracts with recruitment agencies

·         Take ownership of temporary recruitment, ensuring that temps are organised when required, and that relevant documents are processed.

·         Plan bespoke induction schedules with hiring manager for new starters, taking ownership of the induction programme for all new starters.

·         Monitor, organise and attend probation review meetings for new starters and offer feedback and support

·         With the Head of HR, support the portfolio of HR Policies, and monitor revisions to a project plan.

·         Provide excellent HR service to all employees of Naim, ensuring that expectations are realistically managed at all times.

·         Knowledge of Cascade/Octopus – and TMS highly desirable but not essential

·         Ability to prioritise workload, work under pressure and meet deadlines

·         Completer finisher, taking pride in finishing pieces of work until they are thoroughly done.

Qualification / Experience

·         Minimum Maths and English G.C.S.E to Grade C or above

·         2 years’ minimum HR experience preferably gained within a relevant sector

·         Studying toward C.I.P.D Level 3 or beyond advantageous

·         Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment would be advantageous.
