Here at Naim Audio there is an exciting opportunity for full time Tactical Buyer to join our Supply Chain team delivering an effective and efficient purchasing service to our stakeholders.

Unlike most other consumer electronics, Naim Audio products are not designed to be replaced three or four years down the line, they are built for sustainability, as an investment to enable the customer to enjoy many years of incredible musical experience.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

In summary you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • The purchase of goods, materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets
  • Ensuring all purchase requests are closed out in line with the operational demand
  • Carrying out expediting of all open orders and maintain a 95% confirmation of order schedule.
  • Monitoring and advice on any issues which present risk or opportunity to the build plan
  • Preparing and developing reports and updates as and when required
  • Working closely with others in the supply chain function and review opportunities for continuous improvement and business improvements
  • Purchase orders and order schedules
  • Working with the Quality teams to ensure we expedite the returns process for all non-confirming materials

  • Team player able to interact with stakeholders easily and effectively.
  • Time management and organisational / multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently, think creatively, solve problems; ability to make timely, effective, fact-based decisions and take initiative.
  • Passionate music lover – desirable but not essential!

 

Qualification / Experience

  • G.C.S.E. Maths and English Grade C and above
  • Minimum 3 years of working in a global supply chain team.
  • Excellent IT skills including but not limited to Excel.
  • Computer literate, Microsoft Office and networks including MRP / ERP
