HEAD OF MARKETING

Purpose of Role/Key Objectives

Ultimately you will be responsible for the delivery of first class marketing and communications ensuring that the strategies and plans for advertising, content and events are aligned with the Group marketing strategy and that they are delivered to an exceptional standard.  

Main Duties and Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

You will manage all aspects of the world class Naim brand in terms of look and feel, tone, key messages, etc., including developing, managing and delivering product launches and major marketing campaigns. In order to achieve this you will produce marketing plans to support the Group’s commercial vision illustrating commercial and financial targets and report to Board and Management on the effectiveness of this through analysis of results to prove the benefit to the business.

You will also support the product marketing for Naim’s core product ranges, ensuring all on-product and in-box communication are fine tuned to drive sales and communicate brand and full range benefits; develop appropriate investment plans for each product group to maximise return; and drive excellence across printed and online materials, and manage online resource centre.

In order to achieve all this there is obviously a need to work cross functionally as part of a wider communications teams, including reporting direct to the Group Marketing Director as well as specific liaison with the Head of PR (Focal & Naim) and the Head of Digital Marketing to ensure campaigns are integrated across multi- media, including social media and PR opportunities

Skills & Requirements

Who are you?

Previous B2B experience is essential and experience in audio, consumer electronics, ideally including audiophile level products would be regarded more favourably.   Your experience should include delivering in-store activations and PoS across a range of retail environments as well as an excellent knowledge of marketing, brand and campaign management including a sound knowledge of digital marketing; a track record of defining and the hands on delivery of marketing campaigns; as well as extensive experience in delivering proactive and creative communication strategies in cross-functional international businesses.

As this is a key role within our business it goes without saying that the successful candidate should have excellent communication and presentation skills as well as a good eye to detail in order to convey the strong Group ethos.

Qualification / Experience

Marketing qualification at Degree Level

Experience in similar level position in related Industry
