Here at Naim Audio there is an exciting opportunity for someone to join us in a combined role of UK Sales Executive (Sales and Training) managing some independent retailers as well as delivering training and merchandising with national retailers to optimize the sales of Naim and Focal products.  This will include account and sales management as well as on-going training and development of retailers and staff to ensure confident demonstration of our products.  The role will be responsible for a territory covering the midlands and north England.

This is a pivotal role providing valuable feedback from the retail / distribution base, communicating market trends within the ‘Home’ market and assessing reaction to new to market production introductions.

Unlike most other consumer electronics, Naim Audio products are not designed to be replaced three or four years down the line, they are built for sustainability, as an investment to enable the customer to enjoy many years of incredible musical experience. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Effective account management including growth and support of existing accounts, identifying and attaining new opportunities, creating and implementing business plans for your accounts and achieving the goals set within them.
  • Informing and imparting knowledge of Naim and Focal UK’s range of products, ethos, philosophy to our network of specialist retailers and distribution network.
  • To act as the interface between retailer/end-users and the Naim team providing feedback on market trends, competitor activity, reception of new production introductions, seasonal activity, retailer / market performance, etc.
  • Retailer / distribution network training.
  • Promotional activities such as shows and musical evenings, trade shows, etc.
  • Weekly reporting and analysis, monitoring activity and effectiveness.

Skills & Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of the audio industry and an awareness of new technologies and their impact in the marketplace
  • Computer literate, Microsoft Office and networks.
  • Full clean driving licence and passport
