We’re delighted to share news of a major new update for all Naim Audio streaming products. Our range of Uniti all-in-one players, network players, streaming preamplifiers and our Mu-so wireless music system all now feature native support for global music and entertainment platform, TIDAL.
The lossless streaming service has been seamlessly integrated into the Naim Audio App for iOS and Android to allow you to immerse yourself in high-quality sound via your Naim Audio system. Existing and new Naim Audio owners are eligible for a free 90 day trial of the HiFi tier service which is redeemable any time before the 31st December 2016 via the Naim Audio App.
You can download the update, alongside instructions on how to apply to your streamer using the links below. Please ensure you read the accompanying instructions carefully before updating.
Owners of Mu-so wireless music systems will be prompted to update via their Naim Audio app for iOS and Android devices. Look out for the 'UPDATE AVAILABLE' notice and then follow the in-app instructions to update and benefit from the new functionality.
TIDAL is a global, experiential, entertainment platform built for fans, directly from artists around the world. TIDAL members enjoy exclusively curated content that directly connect artists with their fans in multiple ways. The service offers high-fidelity, CD sound quality music, high resolution video, an opportunity to discover new artists via TIDAL Discovery, and unique experiences via TIDAL X. TIDAL is available in more than 45 countries, with a more than 35 million song catalogue and nearly 85,000 high quality videos.
Alongside support for TIDAL, our Mu-so wireless music system is now fully multiroom ready. That means it can stream music in perfect-sync to other Mu-so or Naim Audio two-channel systems in up to four additional rooms.
The update also enables new features for Mu-so that owners of our two-channel systems already enjoy. These include support for gapless playback, Seek2Time to search through tracks using the UPnP input, and a new alarm clock feature.
