Export warranty

So our valued customers have greater clarity on the Naim Audio warranty process, we have defined a set of policy guidelines, which we are pleased to share with you below. If you have questions about any element detailed here, please contact your sales representative.

Export Distribution Warranty:

• All products will come with a 2 year manufacturer’s warranty, which covers manufacturing defects only. Export distributors are obliged to provide this service to customers, supported by Naim Audio in the form of free-of-charge spare parts.

• Warranty will begin from the point of purchase by the end user.

• Damage or defects caused by neglect, misuse or accidents will not be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. This includes any modification or customisation of the product once it leaves our factory.

• In the event of a fault occurring within four weeks of end-user purchase, Naim Audio will offer an advance replacement service via the respective distributor. Naim Audio will dispatch a replacement product to the distributor to replenish stock levels following the advance replacement being issued. Advance replacements must be pre-authorised by Naim Audio.

• In the event of a fault occurring after the initial four-week period, a repair service will be offered via an approved Service Centre.

• All returns to Naim Audio must be via a Naim Audio issued RMA. In the event of a product return without an approved RMA, the delivery will be rejected.

• Proof of purchase will be required for all repair claims covered within the warranty period. If valid proof of purchase cannot be provided, Naim Audio and/or the approved Service Centre reserve the right to charge for any works carried out on the product.

Transport:

• In the event of either an advance replacement or repair, the distributor is responsible for the return of the defective product to Naim Audio.

• Naim Audio will cover any transport costs associated with the dispatch of the new or repaired product.

Extended Warranty:

• No extended warranty is available from Naim Audio: any extended warranty terms are at the discretion of - and supported by - the respective distributor offering any extended terms.

• Naim Audio has no obligation to support extended terms offered by any third party.

Transfer of Warranty:

• In the event of a change of ownership during the product’s life, the basic two-year manufacturer’s warranty will be transferred to the new owner. Please note that proof of original purchase must be provided. Transfer of ownership must be within the country of original sale.

• Transfer of any extended warranty being offered by the distributor is at the discretion of the distributor.

Non-Warranty Repair:

• For out of warranty repairs and repairs not covered by manufacturer’s warranty, Naim Audio offer repair packages to cover the product throughout its full lifetime. We will also continue to offer service packages throughout the life of the product.

• Service and repair prices vary by product so please contact Naim Audio Technical Support to receive up-to-date pricing.

• Products supplied by Naim as “Naim Approved Refurbished” will be eligible for manufacturer’s warranty.

• Warranty will begin from the point of purchase by the end user.

• Manufacturer warranty period on “Naim Approved Refurbished” products:
