NaimNet Launches Control4 Driver

Naim Audio’s range of custom installation solutions, NaimNet, can now be controlled from within a Control4 system. The new driver for Control4, launched at I.S.E. (Integrated Systems Europe), combines the market leading performance of NaimNet with the powerful, yet flexible, control and integration opportunities offered by Control4.

NaimNet is unique in offering uncompressed, high-fidelity audio distribution over TCP/IP. NaimNet also delivers room-to-room synchronisation for parties and minimal latency to allow video lip sync, as well as streaming selected local sources to all other rooms in breath-taking quality.

NaimNet is fully scalable – the only processor is the Control4 processor – so it can be used for a small number of rooms, or as the full system with no cost penalties. It can operate in a virtually unlimited number of rooms, making it ideal for the largest commercial projects. This allows Control4 installers to create solutions that offer the finest audio performance - either in selected rooms, a whole home, an office or a boutique hotel for example - all within the context of a familiar and intuitive Control4 user experience.

The Control4 NaimNet driver has been written in the UK and is fully supported by Naim Audio from its Salisbury headquarters.
