Naim for Bentley

The Speed of Sound

We are pleased to announce a new partnership with Team M-Sport Bentley for the 2014 GT3 season.

Naim Audio began its partnership with Bentley Motors in 2008 with the launch of the Naim for Bentley premium audio system, designed to bring our unrivalled ‘as-live’ musical experience to the Bentley model range. In 2014 the partnership will move up a gear, with Naim Audio joining as an official GT3 sponsor in Bentley’s first full season of competitive racing since their historic sixth victory at Le Mans in 2003. The Naim Audio logo is set to appear on both the cars and on the drivers’ overalls for the 2014 season starting at Monza on 13th April 2014.

Naim Audio’s Managing Director, Paul Stephenson, comments: “Sponsoring Bentley’s GT3 racing is a natural progression of our partnership. Their single-minded pursuit of pure performance is something which we can really identify with. As fellow champions of British engineering and design we are incredibly proud to be supporting Team M-Sport Bentley in what I’m sure will be a hugely successful first season.”

Brian Gush, Bentley’s Director of Motorsport, comments: “As leading experts in the audio field, I’m sure that our partners at Naim Audio would agree that the Continental GT3 comes with a great soundtrack courtesy of our V8 engine. I’m proud to be extending the Bentley relationship with this prestigious British company to include our racing programme, and welcome them to the team.”

Blancpain Endurance Series

After an impressive race debut in Abu Dhabi last December, the Bentley Continental GT3 is now in preparation for the 2014 Blancpain Endurance Series. Powered by a race-prepared and dry-sump version of Bentley’s powerful but efficient road-going 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 and with the instantly-recognisable shape of the Continental GT, the GT3 is a true member of the Continental family. Alongside its racing ambitions, the Continental GT3 retains luxury Grand Tourer roots, with its steering wheel, carbon racing seat and leather door-pulls all trimmed and stitched by hand by the craftsmen and women at the Bentley factory in Crewe.

Six Bentley Boys will drive two Continental GT3 race cars looking to put Bentley back on the top step of the podium once again.

13th April – Monza
25th May – Silverstone
29th June – Paul Ricard
26th July – Total 24 Hours of Spa
21st September – Nürburgring

Generation Bentley Racing

Naim Audio will also be sponsoring a team that will be taking the Continental GT3 into the British GT Championship in 2014. The team, which will race under the Generation Bentley Racing banner, has been formed to develop young talent in motorsport for drivers, engineers and mechanics and will compete in the British GT Championship in 2014.

Drivers James Appleby (GB) and Steve Tandy (GB) will take the wheel this year in British GT and the car is available to compete in the Blancpain Endurance Series for interested parties. The team is keen to take full advantage of the Continental GT3′s eligibility for a wide spectrum of worldwide endurance racing.
