Backing up your Naim server is essential to safeguard your music collection and metadata.
To begin, connect a compatible external USB drive to the server.
Using the Naim app, navigate to the server’s settings and select the backup option.
You can choose to back up the entire library or specific folders.
The server will copy your music files and associated metadata to the external drive. It’s recommended to perform backups regularly, especially after adding new content.
Ensure the drive is formatted in NTFS or exFAT and has sufficient free space.
Once the backup is complete, safely eject the drive to avoid data corruption.
